Dr. Hugh E. A. Kendall is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, certified in General Surgery. He is a graduate of Queen's University, the McGill University School of Medicine, and the University of Toronto Surgery Program. He has over 20 years experience in surgery. He has served in several positions at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, including as Co-Chair of the Out of Hospital Premises Task Force, a Peer Assessor in General Surgery, current Co-Chair of the Premises Inspection Committee, and Member of the Quality Assurance Committee at CPSO.
He is a member of the Quality Management Partnership between Cancer Care Ontario and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. He serves in several capacities at Cancer Care Ontario, including Expert Advisory Panel member for Colonoscopy, and is currently Cancer Care Ontario Regional Lead for Endoscopy for the CE LHIN. Since 2006, he has served as President of Durham EndoSurgery Centre.

Dr. Wherrett is a Staff Surgeon at Lakeridge Health Corporation. She is active in the surgical education of elective residents from Queens University and holds the position of Adjunct Professor, Department of Medicine, Queens University at Kingston.
All our physicians have had special training and certification in colonoscopy and gastroscopy. This consists of structured teaching at a University Teaching Hospital as part of their post-graduate medical specialty programs. Our Physicians are Members of the following Professional Colleges:
